ABOUT ANNIE
Annie is a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counselling Therapist and has worked in various settings throughout her career. Currently, she practises within the NHS and is also a Psychotherapy student in advanced training.
Annie has over 10 years' experience counselling clients with many issues, including relationship, anxiety, addiction, bereavement, mental health and abuse.

Established in her private practice, Annie is passionate about offering a safe, confidential space, so her clients can experience healing and understanding.

Starting therapy is often daunting and it is very important to build trust and create an environment that is non-judgmental, comfortable and welcoming so that you can work together on any issue that is important to you.
​​
To help you establish if counselling will be helpful and something you would like to pursue, Annie offers an initial 20 to 30 minute consultation at a reduced fee.

Annie is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abides by their code of ethics. Annie is also DBS checked, fully insured and receives regular clinical supervision.​

Counselling sessions are up to 55 minutes in length.
​
As your counsellor, Annie's role is to draw upon her broad experience and skills so you can work together to find answers and solutions that feel right for you. No two people are the same, so the number of sessions required varies from person to person, depending on the complexity of the issue.

When choosing a counsellor, it is important that you feel comfortable in their company and be able to speak openly. To ensure your counselling experience will be productive for you, Annie offers an initial 15-20 minute telephone/video call consultation at no charge.
